Inkjet Ink Cartridges For All Your Printing Needs

Blurry colored and out of alignment printing is a common problem with ink jet printers. Solving these common problems can be easy if you know what to do, or frustrating when you don’t.  Since all printers are different, start with the owner’s manual. They all give common symptoms and solutions.
Here are some general solutions.

Fadded Prints

If the prints are faded or has breaks in the lines, and you have checked there is inkjet ink in the cartridges, the problem could be that the inkjet cartridge print head is clogged. The simple solution is to run the printer’s maintenance routine to clean the heads. This generally means the printer will print out a page that should cause the head to clear out.

Jagged Lines

If the lines are jagged, the problem is probably that the print head cartridge is out of alignment. There should be a utility for your printer that walks you through steps to correct this.
If colors are off, the first thing to check is the ink level in your inkjet cartridge.  If that isn’t the issue, one or more of the jets may be clogged.  This can also happen if the ink becomes old. Simply replace the cartridges.

Grainy Quality

If the overall quality is low as in grainy, it’s probably just the print quality setting that you used. Less likely but possible is the paper quality.

Too Dark

If the printing is too dark, you may have the print quality set too high for the paper. Paper absorbs ink differently according to how it is made. Try reducing the print quality setting.

Color in Black and White

If the black and white prints have a color tinge to them, it may just be that the ink needs longer time to dry. The color can shift up to several hours after printing.
